I feel very torn on the subject of recipes. When I started this blog, I wanted to write about how to make food without a recipe. I used to hate cooking because my rebellious nature felt trapped within the confines of the recipe, where any deviation from the strict amounts and directions would lead to failure. Learning the techniques of cooking free of specific recipes was a very liberating experience which allowed me to experiment and develop my own recipes. A recipe format is the way most people prefer when reading about food process, and because of this, I have integrated it into my blog.
Here is a list of our recipe types for you to browse. I encourage all readers to use these recipes more as guidelines for technique.
